As we enter the holiday season, I wanted to thank everyone that has supported our students in some way. Whether it was the students who shared in the responsibility of creating Thanksgiving Baskets to donate to 30 O’Neill families, or whether it was staff that helped our littlest learners star in the Thanksgiving Play, or the faculty that always steps up to provide for our school community, THANK YOU! The O’Neill community is what we are because of all of you.
December promises to bring with it many festive activities. Our chorus and band are practicing for the winter concert, our students will be shopping at the Holiday Boutique, our PTA is sponsoring a Winter Fun Night, and students can have their picture taken with Santa. This all leads up to our districtwide caroling that happens on Dec 22nd.
Through all the excitement the holiday brings, we cannot forget what it means to be an O’Neill student. With the focus on being KIND all year long, our students are often seen being caring and compassionate, showing love for those around us. We will end the year with a toy drive once again, to show our O’Neill family how much they are loved!
