A whopping 210 students with exemplary attendance at O’Neill Elementary School were treated to a special pancake breakfast on Friday morning.

In celebration of Black History Month and in an effort to focus on less recognized figures, Ms. Carney’s first graders at O'Neill Elementary School learned about Amanda Gorman, the first National Youth Poet Laureate and an activist and best known for delivering her poem “The Hill We Climb” at Joe Biden’s inauguration.

The O'Neill PTA hosted the game show "Are Smarter than a 5th Grader. Mrs. Grizzaffi created the game where families and friends competed to see who was the smartest at O'Neill!
