Concert Choir Returns to St. Patrick's on Monday

Concert Choir Returns to St. Patrick's on Monday

The Central Islip High School Concert Choir will be performing at St. Patrick's Cathedral in New York City this Monday, December 22 at 1:45 PM.

This marks the second year in a row the students will make the trip into Manhattan to perform at one of the most famous churches across North America.

"Over the past two decades, the concert choir has had the incredible opportunity to sing in some amazing places including The White House, the Vatican, the Crystal Cathedral in Los Angeles, and many other venues across Europe and the U.S. We are proud to have added St. Patrick's Cathedral to that list," said Mr. Philip K. Voigt, Director of Music and Technology.

"The choir will present a varied holiday program that befits the grandeur of this magnificent cathedral. If you’re around 5th Avenue Monday, December 22 at 1:45 PM, we’d love you to stop by," said Voigt.
