O'Neill Book Buddies teams first grade and fifth grade students to share reading their favorite stories together. At O'Neill Elementary School, Ms. Hickey's fifth graders assisted Mrs. Carney's and Ms. Crowe's first grade students as they buddied up to read together. O'Neill Elementary School Principal Kristine LoCascio said the Book Buddies concept encourages students to want to further explore the wide world of reading.
