Principal's Message
Dear Parents/Guardians,
I hope this finds you well and adjusting to the 2020-2021 school year. This year certainly finds us experiencing issues like none before.
The students are adjusting to this "new normal", and while we would love to have ALL students here everyday, we must wait for certain COVID-19 restrictions to be lifted.
I realize there are many questions surrounding this new way of schooling. While parents have opted for either Hybrid or Virtual Instruction, teaching and learning MUST take place daily. If your child is not physically in the building, work should be taking place outside of the classroom. It is imperative for the student's success that you work together with the teachers to reinforce that children check in DAILY. If your child's teacher has contacted you via google classroom or another platform such as class dojo or the remind app, to let you know work/materials are available for pick up, they will be here Thursday and Friday at the school. If this is not feasible for pick up, call us, we can make alternate arrangements. I know we are facing some very difficult times, and we all need to remember the student's educational, social and emotional needs are paramount.
"We Can, We Will!!"
Respectfully,
Kristine LoCascio
Principal
